January 2009: Supply Chain modeling services now offered by Isotupa Consulting

 

Dr. Sapna Isotupa joins Isotupa Consulting Inc. to offer a new line of consulting services.

Dr. Sapna Isotupa is an Associate Professor of Operations and Decision Sciences at the School of Business and Economics, Wilfrid Laurier University. Dr. Isotupa received her PhD in Mathematics from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras India. Her primary expertise is in the area of mathematical modeling of stochastic systems.

 

She has been funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) for her work on inventory systems with customers requiring different levels of service. 

 

She has also been funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) for a project involving operational efficiency of cross border supply chains.   This project also aims to streamline truck traffic at some of the busiest US-Canada border crossings.

 

She is interested in working on projects involving modeling of queueing systems, inventory systems and trans-border and other supply chains.
